Windows 10 Creators Update Leaks

Those who have been restlessly waiting to catch a glimpse of the final Windows 10 Creators Update build (15063), Twitter user Steve Truman (@KPRP42) shared direct links with Neowin for a couple of the 15063 ISOs that are currently available on Microsoft.com: 64-bit PC and 32-bit PC.

It's worth noting that about 18 hours after the ISOs surfaced on Microsoft's servers, they have now been pulled, with the page returning 404 errors.

Windows 10 Creators Update Features

Windows 10 Creators Update is expected to pack an array of awe-inspiring features; however, a couple of those -- People integration and Windows Mixed Reality, to be precise, have been postponed for later this year. Despite the delayed arrival of the aforesaid features, there are still ample new features for users to delve into.

One of the key features included in the Creators Update is a newfangled Game Mode for Windows 10 PCs. According to TheVerge's Tom Warren, this feature prioritizes system resources to a game, thus ensuring games run at optimum frame rate.

Earlier this year, Kevin Gammill, a partner group program manager for Xbox, told PCGamer in an interview that Game Mode will be compatible with both UWP and Win32-based games. Aside from that, the popular software maker will also be bringing in its Beam streaming to Windows 10 Xbox app. This will reportedly enable PC gamers to stream gameplay on its service without breaking much of a sweat.

Since this is exclusively designed for creators, the developing team has devised a new 3D Paint app for Windows 10. Coupled with the Windows 10 Creators Update, this app comes in handy while creating 3D objects that will work with headsets with Mixed Reality later this year.

In addition, the movies and TV app will offer support for 360-degrees videos, and there will be a new ebook section of the Windows Store. Moreover, Windows Edge browser is also likely to undergo a radical overhaul adding a new tab management feature that allows users to set aside and store a number of tabs. The tech behemoth will also be adding support for ebooks for book lovers.

Furthermore, a new light feature that automatically decreases blue light at sunset will also be included. There's also a mini view to keep Skype calls, TV shows or movies on top in a PIP (picture-in-picture) mode. Users will be able to automatically lock Windows 10 PCs with their iPhone, Android, and Windows Phones while away from their computer.

Although most of the features expected to come with Windows 10 Creators Update are nothing much to shout about, these are welcome additions, nonetheless. Torrents of reports regarding Microsoft's second major update to Windows 10 are likely to surface online ahead of its looming arrival. Microsoft is likely to throw more light on this at the company's Build developers conference, which takes place in May.
