Apple Mac Mini Latest News: Cupertino Tech Giant Not Thrashing The Mac Mini

Apple recently claims that it will not discontinue producing the Mac Mini. This is amidst the heavy speculations that the company is planning to end its production.

For a while, consumers have not heard anything from Apple about new information referring to the Mac Mini. Until today, the Cupertino-based tech giant has been very silent, if not cagey about the product. Because of this, speculations are starting to spread that the company was going to discontinue the product.

In a rare incident, Apple Senior Vice President Phil Schiller has confirmed that the Mac Mini will remain as one of the company's most important product. In a press briefing event on April 4, the executive also revealed Apple's future plans for the Mac Pro and the iMac. Aside from calling the Mac Mini an important product in the company's lineup, he was quoted saying that he rather not bring up other details because the product is more of a mix of users with several pro uses, reported Buzzfeed.

In other words, the VP just stated that Mac Mini will still remain to be one of the company's products. It can be recalled that the Cupertino-based tech conglomerate refreshed that Mac Mini in 2014. So far the product remains the most affordable Mac in its range of products, says Daring Fireball.

Phil Schiller's comment in the said event is an indication that the company is most likely open to the idea of introducing or reimagining the Mac Mini sometime in the future. Apple patrons are waiting for more information about the Mac Mini but Apple was limiting its information, as it was always the case.

The thing is, a potential overhauling of the Mac Mini or a refresh of specs might be in the horizon. For now, we will have to wait and see what the company will have in store for its consumers in the future.
