Nokia Italy and Nokia Germany are preparing the availability of the Nokia Lumia 920 and 820 Windows Phone 8 devices. The price and release date for both these handsets have been announced in a recent press release.

The Lumia 920, which is the higher-end handset, will cost EUR 599 (~$772) at launch in Italy, while in Germany, the handset will be EUR 50 more expensive. The Lumia 820 will cost around EUR 499 (~$643) at launch; in Germany, the price remains the same.

Nokia's Lumia 920 generally comes out on top in the pricing comparison, bested only by the HTC 8X Windows Phone 8 device and the HTC One X Android-powered smartphone.
Both the Lumia 920 and 820 are expected to go on sale in mid-November.
