AT&T recently unveiled three Android-powered Samsung smartphones: Galaxy Express, Galaxy Rugby Pro, and the much-awaited Galaxy Note 2. In addition to the smartphones, customers will also find Samsung's tablet Galaxy Tab 2 on offer from the carrier. AT&T announced the addition of Samsung devices to its portfolio on Sept. 28.

"AT&T customers have access to the nation's largest 4G network, covering 275 million people. AT&T has two 4G networks that work together for customers, LTE and HSPA+ with enhanced backhaul. That means AT&T customers are able to enjoy a widespread, ultra-fast and consistent 4G experience on their compatible device as they move in and out of LTE areas. With other carriers, when you travel outside of their LTE coverage area, you may be on a much slower 3G network," stated the press release.

Here is the roundup of the new Samsung devices on offer from AT&T.

Galaxy Express
The entry-level Galaxy Express will suit first-time smartphone buyers looking for a handset that offers high performance features at a pocket-friendly price. The device runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) and sports a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus screen. A 1.5 GHz dual-core processor powers the smartphone. Users will find a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera on the device. A 2000mAh battery fuels the smartphone.

Galaxy Rugby Pro
AT&T's press release describes the Galaxy Rugby Pro as "an ideal mix of brains and brawn." The smartphone is waterproof, shock resistant, and dust proof. The device features a 4-inch WVGA Super AMOLED display and a 5-megapixel rear facing camera. "Rugby Pro also comes with full device encryption and EAS corporate email support. The device will have access to Enhanced Push-to-Talk functionality upon launch of the service.

Galaxy Note 2
Unveiled in August this year, the highly-anticipated Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will run on the latest Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). The "phablet" will boast a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display. The Galaxy Note 2 with 4G LTE features a stylus (S Pen), which is expected to provide the experience of a tablet and convenience of a smartphone to its users. A powerful 1.6 GHz quad-core Exynos processor powers the device. A heavy duty 3100 mAh battery will fuel the phablet.

Galaxy Tab 2 10.1
Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 features a 10.1-inch display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. The tablet also features a 3-megapixel rear-facing camera. The tablet will run on ICS and a 7000 mAh battery will power the device.

AT&T remains silent on pricing and when the devices will be available to users.
