While the Chinese handset maker will be spilling the beans about the device's pricing and availability on May 4, the F3's description on Oppo's official website confirms the smartphone will retain the F3 Plus' dual selfie camera setup. Interestingly, the tech firm has collaborated with hit movie "Bahubali" to announce the smartphone.

Details about the Oppo F3 smartphone are quite hard to come by at the moment; however, analyzing the device's recently surfaced image, it seems safe to say that there's a negligible difference in terms of design. The front of the device bears striking resemblance to the Oppo F3 Plus, and it is likely that the company has placed the fingerprint scanner underneath the Home Button, Gadgets 360 reported.

The Oppo F3 smartphone will pack high-spec'd hardware coupled with optimized software in the bid to offer seamless user experience. The device also includes a wide-angle camera feature in the front to embody more composition in selfies. It is backed by a 3,075mAh battery and will run on Color OS-based Android 7.0 Nougat.

The Oppo F3 Plus came bearing a price tag of INR 30,990 in India, which converts to about $479. Aside from packing an array of awe-inspiring features, the device sported dual selfie camera setup, a 4000mAh battery and was housed in a sleek metal form factor.

The Oppo F3 is expected to be the smaller variant of the Oppo F3 Plus and is likely to cost comparatively less. It still remains to be seen how the "Bahubali" collaboration will bear out on the smartphone, but all details will be divulged on May 4.
