Smartphone enthusiasts looking for a new high-end handset can now consider purchasing the Samsung Galaxy S3 for only $99 on Amazon.
New customers can now sign-up for a two-year contract with Verizon or Sprint via Amazon and get the Samsung Galaxy S3 for $99. However, other networks have different price tags.
"Consumers who want to give their pre existing contracts with these carriers can get the device for $150. Consumers who are looking to sign a contract with AT&T can get the Galaxy S3 for $118.99. It is a very good offer especially since the Jelly BeanAndroid 4.1 updates are due in the very near future. For those who don't remember, I would like to remind them that all these carriers charge $199 for a Galaxy S3 smartphone at present. So that is a mega saving of more than $100," reported PC Tablet.
The Galaxy S3 has won over the hearts of many smartphone enthusiasts looking for a top-end device. Launched in May this year, the Galaxy S3 has given stiff competition to rival smartphones especially the iPhone. In August this year, the Galaxy S3 also surpassed iPhone 4S' sales in the U.S.
"The 4.8in. quad-core Galaxy S III is a very impressive device that currently represents the state of the smartphone art. That's why we've given it an Editors' Choice award," reported ZDNet.
Additionally, the Galaxy S3 has received plaudits from all over the tech industry.
"The Samsung Galaxy S3 has a gorgeous 4.8-inch 720p resolution display, a deliciously slim and light casing and a super-powered quad-core engine. It's the Ferrari of the Android circuit so it's very expensive, and Samsung's TouchWiz software isn't always as slick as it could be. But if you're a power-loving Android fan hankering to trouser a monster, look no further," reported CNet.
The Galaxy S3 packs features which a smartphone user will want to have in a user friendly handset. The device was originally launched only in Marble White and Pebble Blue colors, but now Samsung has also introduced colors like brown, black, gray, and red to provide a variety to users. What's more, with the price drop the smartphone is budget friendly as well.
Time will tell if the drop in price from Amazon will see the Galaxy S3 reaching further sales milestones in the near future.
