It was not long ago that the upcoming ‘Halo 4’ DLC – Crimson Map Pack – was revealed, and now more information regarding the DLC has trickled in, with the latest one being the list of achievements revealed for the upcoming DLC.
The achievement list the Crimson Map Pack DLC has been posted online and has revealed a series of crazy tasks the users will be challenged to complete when the content drops on Dec. 10. The list, first appeared on Halo Waypoint, detailing the eight achievements that will soon be added to the game.
The list of achievements is as follows:
Now They Fly? - Getting a kill while airborne in a Warthog – (50 points)
Size Is Everything - Eliminating 20 enemies with a detached Machine Gun Turret – (20 points)
ODST - Getting rid of a player while the other player is airborne using a Man Cannon – (30 points)
Bigfoot - Killing 20 enemies using the Mantis' stomp attack – (20 points)
David and Goliath - Boarding an enemy Mantis – (20 points)
Clay Pigeon - Shooting an enemy out of the air while they use the Man Cannon – (40 points)
Special Delivery - Eliminating an enemy with a melee attack when landing from a Man Cannon – (30 points)
Pump Yer Brakes - Score the killing blow on a Mantis – (40 points)
For the ones who are unaware of the Crimson Map Pack, it is the first among a total of three planned map packs that will be hitting the first-person shooter. The three map packs are named Wreckage, Harvest, and Shatter.
The new pack, according to the official page, offers something for everyone “including a variety of designs, spaces for tight firefights or vehicle warfare, as well as 8 new achievements and a new Crimson DLC playlist. Extraction, a 5 vs. 5 objective-based game type where opposing Spartan teams are tasked with extracting assets from various sites around the map, will also be available for the first time in Multiplayer Matchmaking, on the same day that the Crimson Map Pack becomes available.”
The Crimson Map Pack is currently scheduled for release on Dec. 10, and will cost $10 or 800 Microsoft Points. Those who’ve already purchased the title’s War Games Map Pass will be able to download the DLC free of cost.
