Following Motorola and Verizon, HTC has decided to give out some holiday love to owners of the HTC One S (this is for the International version only). The Taiwanese company has released a 612MB OTA Android Jelly Bean 4.1.1 update.
Here's the official rundown of what's included in this update:
- Android 4.1.1 and HTC Sense 4+
- Enhanced UI with better performance in Camera
- New landing page and event/map view in gallery
- Power management improvement
It's great to see manufacturers releasing updates to Android in a more timely manner. It seems even smartphone manufacturers like to do kind things during the holiday season. Let's just hope they can keep this momentum going year round.
