When Amazon launched the Amazon Appstore, it also launched the 'Free App of the Day' promotion. Each day Amazon makes a paid Android app free for one day. I have downloaded some excellent apps through this promotion and have made it a habit to check the Appstore every day so I can be sure to never miss downloading a great paid app for free.
