The hype and excitement surrounding the first ever iOS 6, 6.1 untethered jailbreak have reached the zenith as Evad3rs dev team releases 'Evasi0n' jailbreak for all iPhone, iPad, iPad mini, and iPod touch devices (running iOS 6.0 through 6.1).

Now that you are done with the long-awaited jailbreak through Evasion, there are certain things you can do with jailbreak tweaks that aren't possible on non-jailbroken devices. There are a lot of notable tweaks and apps available in Cydia and at times, it becomes a hard job to choose the best out of plenty. However, there are a few useful jailbreak tweets for your iOS device that you should try right away.

Auxo: This tweak offers a refreshing iOS multitasking situation whereby it displays live previews of your open app. The live app preview cards can be closed with simple gestures. The greatness of the app lies in its tiny details as it includes music controls and minimal toggles for settings like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cellular data, and even screen brightness. For all such reasons, Auxo remains to be the one app that Apple is most likely to copy.

MapsOpener: iOS users had reasons to cheer when Apple introduced Google Maps app in the App Store after its failed attempt to create a map of its own. However, users were automatically directed to Apple Maps when they open maps links in Safari or ask Siri for directions. With MapsOpener, you can make Google Maps your default iOS maps app.

Zephyr: This tweak will take away the pain of pressing and double-tapping your iPhone's home button. Zephyr allows the multitasking bar to be revealed by a swipe up from the bottom of the screen and a longer swap will close the current app. With this tweak, users can slide between the active display of open apps.

Octopus Keyboard: You can get the BlackBerry 10 keyboard on your jailbroken iPhone with Octopus Keyboard. The predictive typing feature in BlackBerry 10 is believed to be faster and more accurate than iOS or Android's onscreen keyboards.

Dashboard X: Dashboard X brings an end to the long-heard clamor for the option of custom widgets. This tweak enables users to bring widgets right on their home screen. Cydia offers a whole lot of widgets such as NCSettings and others which help you to perform various functions including music control, stocks check and more right from the home screen quite effortlessly.

Emblem: This iPad-only tweak brings OS X-style notifications to your Apple tablet. As Alex Heath of Cult of Mac notes, "Apple merely ported the iPhone layout to the iPad's larger display, and the system just doesn't translate well. A jailbreak tweak called Emblem makes receiving and interacting with notifications more intuitive and less obtrusive on the iPad."

IntelliScreenX: Expanding your iOS device's Notification Center to a large extent, this tweak will give essentially everything you could ever need from within iOS's pull-down menu. Many features including Twitter, Facebook, Extended Calendar, Mail support, RSS Reader, and Quick Reply are included in this tweak.

SBSettings: Considered to be one of the most useful tweaks on the Cydia store, SBSettings offers an easily accessible menu where all the key functions of your device are gathered at a single place. "Once activated, one can toggle Wi-Fi, 3G, Data, Location Services, Brightness, Airplane mode, and other features on / off with a simple tap, as well respring / reboot / lock / safe mode or power off with absolute ease," Redmondpie reports.

Winterboard: The original theming app for iOS, Winterboard helps you change the overall look of the lock screen and home screen. You can opt one of your choice from those trillions of pre-made themes available online and through Cydia if you don't feel like theming yourself.

BiteSMS: This tweak is an extended version of the stock Messages apps and comes with a lot of impressive features such as quick compose, timed messages, custom themes, and password lock etc.

It should be noted that the above-mentioned are a few to list out from the many tweaks. Tweaks like Springtomize 2, Stride, Merge, Messages+, PhotoFilters, RetinaPad, Bulletin, Switchy, NowNow, f.lux, AirBlue Sharing, Quasar, TetherMe, iFile, CameraTweak are worth taking a look at on iOS 6.
