Rumors about the upcoming smartphone from Samsung, Galaxy S4, have been surfacing every now and then with different kinds of information. However, the latest rumor puts most of the earlier rumors aside and brings some news for Samsung fans.
The recently leaked image of Galaxy S4 comes with the device's specifications also. According to the image the latest product of Samsung's Galaxy series will run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
This information brings earlier talks about the smartphone's operating system to an end. Earlier, different reports were suggesting that Galaxy S4 may come with Android 5.0 which is rumored to be named 'Key Lime Pie.'
Other reports were indicating towards Samsung changing its strategy and moving away from Android, and bringing an open source operating system 'Tizen' for Galaxy S4.
Going by the render released by Android Community, it looks like Galaxy S4 will come packed in a metal body with front speakers. The speakers part look little unreal as Samsung has always preferred to bring out devices with rear speakers.
One more important point to be noticed in the leaked image is that Samsung will not give a physical button in Galaxy S4.
With the release of Exynos 5 Octa many people were speculating that Samsung's new product in Galaxy series will be powered by Exynos 5 Octa, however, the render shows that the phone will be powered by Exynos 5450 quad-core processor.
The phone will come with a 5-inch 1080 pixel full HD Super AMOLED display, which will be protected with Corning's latest product Gorilla Glass 3.
Corning released Gorilla Glass 3 at the recently held International CES in Las Vegas last month.
According to the render, these are the specifications of Samsung Galaxy S4:
Released date
As the speculations about the specifications of the samartphone start coming in, rumors about the possible release of the phone have also been gaining momentum.
A recent report from SamMobile suggests that the devices will be released on March 15, and will be available for users from early April.
Though there is no official word or response from Samsung, SamMobile's report looks substantial as it quotes its one of the 'trusted insiders.'
According to the report, "The accessories for the Galaxy S IV (Clear Cover, Flip Cover, Protective Cover, Pouch, Extra Battery Kit, Wireless Charging Kit, HDTV Adapter and Headset) are planned for week 15 which also hinted for an early Galaxy S IV April release!"
