In the beginning of this month, users of Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 were treated with some good news. However, the piece of news developed so fast and here is the real treat for those users.

Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy Ace 2, which was promised by Samsung long ago, is now available, but unofficially.

According to a SamMobile report, the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for the successor of Galaxy Ace is leaked and available for download.

The new update is said to be coming a new user interface to give users a new and faster experience of their device, the TouchWiz Nature UX interface is going to a downgraded version of TouchWiz Nature UX interface available in Samsung Galaxy S3.

Earlier this month, SamMobile had reported that it receive a couple of screenshots of a prerelease firmware for Galaxy Ace2 GTI8160.

Now, as the firmware has already leaked and there is no word from Samsung about the release of Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for Samsung Galaxy Ace2, many speculate that the release is somewhere around the corner.

Samsung had announced last year that it will release the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for Galaxy Ace2, but after many months the release of the firmware did not take place.

Though, some leaked information kept the users of Galaxy Ace2 hopeful of getting the Jelly Bean update, it was never announced officially by Samsung that when the update will be coming.

According to SamMobile you can update you device to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean by following some easy steps.

However, before you start preparing your mind to get the update, keep it in your mind  that the firmware is not official and updating your smartphone to this firmware may void the warranty of your device.

Follow these steps to update:

Get ODIN
Select PDA, select CODE file.
Select CSC, select CSC file
Download Mode and flash
