Samsung has already sent out the invitations and now the company has invited the public to join its Unpacked event at the Times Square to witness the much-talked about Galaxy S4 launch on March 14.
The invitation came as an official tweet on its Samsung Mobile Twitter account where it announced that a new public event will be taking place in Times Square on March 14. "Be Ready 4 The Next Galaxy @Times Square / March 14, 7PM," the latest teaser said. "Be the first in the world to experience IT! You can watch Samsung Unpacked via live stream and experience Samsung's new flagship smartphone at Times Square," the South Korean electronics major announced on Twitter.
The event is scheduled to happen at 7 PM EST and will coincide with the official launch and press event scheduled to take place at Radio City Music Hall in New York. While the tweet does not specify how it's going to conduct the live launch, it's presumed that the company might use one of the giant Times Square TV screens to unveil the product.
Meanwhile, Sam Mobile speculated that the Galaxy S4 may feature a dotted back case given the fact that latest Samsung teaser has a dotted background.
Putting an end to the numerous contradicting rumors about the release date of its next flagship smartphone, Samsung finally confirmed the release date as March 14 a couple of days back. Samsung chose to unveil the successor of Galaxy S3 in New York, taking the intense smartphone battle to Apple's turf, reportedly upon increasing requests from the U.S. mobile carriers.
While a lot has been speculated about the features and specifications of Galaxy S4, the latest rumor has it that the device may feature two processor types — possibly Qualcomm's Snapdragon 600 in the U.S. and Samsung Exynos 5 Octa in Europe. In a yet another major development, the smartphone will feature Visa's PayWave NFC-based wireless payment application under a new partner program between Samsung with Visa.
Of all the speculated specs and rumors, below is the latest list of features that you may possibly see in Galaxy S4 on March 14.
