AT&T will start selling the Nokia Lumia 2520 Windows RT tablet on Nov. 22 and customers who purchase select Lumia smartphones can get the tablet for $199.99.

The black model of the Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet will become available through all AT&T channels starting on Nov. 22. The carrier will offer the slate for $399.99 with a two-year contract, but it also has a special deal for customers willing to buy a select Lumia smartphone along with the tablet.

AT&T is offering the Nokia Lumia 2520 for just $200 when bundled with a Nokia Lumia 925, Lumia 1020, or Lumia 1520. This deal also requires signing up for a two-year contract with the carrier, which implies an extra $10 worth of tablet data per month as part of AT&T's Mobile share plan.

The Lumia 2520 marks Nokia's first foray into the tablet market and offers consumers another Windows RT option aside from Microsoft's Surface RT and Surface 2 tablets.

Nokia's tablet offering is actually similar to Microsoft's Surface 2, as both slates run Windows RT 8.1. This means that the tablets can only run apps from the Windows Store, without access to the millions of apps for the full-fledged Windows 8.

In terms of specifications, the Nokia Lumia 2520 sports a 10.1-inch full HD ClearBlack IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a pixel density of 219 pixels per inch (ppi). A quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor powers the tablet, along with 2GB of RAM.

Other specs include 32GB of internal storage capacity, a microSD card slot for up to 32GB of additional memory, and a non-removable 8,000 mAh battery. The Lumia 2520 also boasts a 6.7-megapixel rear camera with Carl Zeiss optics, 4x digital zoom, auto focus, and a 2-megapixel front-shooter. Connectivity options include a USB 3.0 port, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, 4G LTE, and Bluetooth 4.0.

Nokia's Power Keyboard accessory can turn the tablet into a small laptop while also providing another five hours of battery, but it is available separately. AT&T has yet to offer a price for this accessory, but Nokia previously said it would cost $150.

Long story short, interested Lumia 2520 buyers can get the tablet from AT&T for $199.99 if they also purchase a Lumia 925, Lumia 1020 or Lumia 1520 smartphone. The price goes up to $399.99 on-contract without the smartphone bundle, or $499.99 contract-free, and it seems that these prices are as good as it gets for now. Verizon is rumored to sell the Lumia 2520 for the same $399.99 on-contract price, but the carrier is yet to confirm whether it will actually sell the tablet. A cheaper Wi-Fi only model of the Lumia 2520, meanwhile, is not available for now.
