Although, there has been news that Michael Schumacher is responding to treatment, there is no guarantee that he will be able to recover fully.

As such, Schumacher's driver Sabine Kehm insists on not losing hope that the F1 legend, who met with a skiing accident in 2013, will fully bounce back.

Recently Schumacher was honored with Lifetime Achievement Award at Nurburgring. His manager, Sabine Kehm, accepted the award on his behalf, according to reports from Ecumenical News.

According to Sports Mole, Kehm mentioned, "I realize we would all like it if Michael himself could be here, but unfortunately that is not possible."

"We have to accept it and learn to deal with it. We will continue to hope and do everything so that it will be different again," he continued.

Although Schumacher has been known to respond positively towards the treatment, he remains immobile, with no ability of speech, with a team of 15 medical staff attending to him in a special medical suite in his apartment at Switzerland.

Professor Jean Francois Payen, who conducted Schumacher's brain operation, is leading the medical care team, according to reports from Crossmap.

Earlier this year, Schumacher's camp defended their decision for non-issuance of updates on the legendary F1 champion after they kept the media out of the loop.

Kehm mentioned that it would be impossible to answer the questions with a few sentences and answering one question would lead to another.

"Michael's private life was sacred to him even before the accident," Kehm said.

Meanwhile, Schumacher's son Mike has also made the headlines for his performance in German Formula 4 championship. He claimed two victories in a single day, and is presently awaiting the finals to complete his third win.
