The "Final Fantasy XV" characters as we know them were not originally designed the way they are at present. A former designer related what happened during the development of the game, as well as the design origins of the characters.

Character Designer Roberto Ferrari recently narrated on his Facebook page the inefficiency inside the "Final Fantasy" studio. Ferrari has already left the development team, and said that the group was highly disorganized. He narrated that his team consisted of 200 suffering souls who had to labor on "FFXV" while it was yet to be finalized.

He added that "FFXV" story changed every three months in 2013 and it affected the game's final release schedule. He further said that in animation world, the main story is concrete and established before staff were hired, which happened otherwise in "FFXV."
