"Call of Duty" fans, rejoice! Raven Software is finally answering the prayers of "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" players who have been restlessly waiting for the game developer to take care of a lingering issue with Sniper Collateral Damage.

Much to the delight of avid "MW Remastered" players, Raven Software has confirmed that the next patch will encompass the long-awaited fix. The studio's lead designer, Amos Hodge took to his Twitter handle (@wendellwobble) earlier this week to address the problem.

In his tweet, Hodge alluded to a video footage (shown below) shared by the Twitter user, SoaR Kross (@Kross), who, according to his Twitter account is the director of SoarGaming. The said video clarified that sniper rifles are nerfed from collateral kills.

The original "Call of Duty 4's" sniper could effortlessly wipe out about 5 players lined up in a row. Snipers in the newfangled "Modern Warfare Remastered," on the other hand, have to strive to kill even a couple of players. The game developer analyzed the difference in collateral damage too, but avid gamers claim that the lobby host never produced high collaterals.

While this may be a welcome change for " MW Remastered" players who resented the sniper class, other players deemed "Sniper Collateral Damage in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" defective.

Although details about when the much-awaited "Modern Warfare Remastered" update will roll out is few and far between, iDigitalTimes suggests the Sniper Collateral Damage tweaks will encompass a slew of changes including missing kill cams and invisible weapons fixes, spawning improvements.

In other news, an alleged screenshot of "Modern Warfare Remastered" seem to have surfaced online thanks to Twitter handle @BigOleDab. Notably, a Twitter users pointed out that rifle, the soldier is holding in the leaked image doesn't have mag. Another Twitter user suggested the leaked photo could possibly hint at a supply drop.

Despite the lack of an official announcement regarding when the "Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" patch will be released, some optimistic "MW Remastered" players believe that patch will arrive in near future. More details about the upcoming patch for Sniper Collateral are likely to surface online in near future.
