Feb 03, 2017 08:17 PM EST

"Grand Theft Auto Online" is very popular among gamers worldwide. But recently, Rockstar Games warned "GTA Online" players on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 to transfer their characters and progression to new consoles or PC.

Rockstar Games is set to delete "Grand Theft Auto Online" from older consoles before Mar. 6, 2017 and migrate everything over to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. All PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 users playing GTA Online should transfer their progressions before the stated date or these will also be deleted along with the game's old console version.

Rockstar Games posted the announcement via Instagram, saying, "Last chance to transfer from PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Now is your last chance to transfer your eligible existing Grand Theft Auto Online characters and progression from PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 to PlayStation 4, Xbox One or PC. This will no longer be possible after March 6, 2017."

For old console players who don't have any idea how to transfer their "Grand Theft Auto Online" games progressions from PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Rockstar Games has some instructions on their official site. Fans can visit and check it out for safe and proper procedures.

Another report Rockstar Games state that they are now offering double rewards events. Various adversary modes are offering double GTA$ and Rep Points.

"Grand Theft Auto Online" is also offering discounts for the equipment needed to be successful in the adversary modes. A 25 to 50 percent discount will be available on Executive Offices, Vehicle Warehouses, weapons and other useful equipment.
