The Nintendo Switch releases today. For those who are lucky enough to be the first ones to preorder the new hybrid video game console, paying video games on the Switch is but a few hours away.

Up until the last moment, several Nintendo fans are still trying to get into Nintendo Switch pre-order retail shops. However, the efforts have been futile to some as a number of major retailers have already exhausted their allocations of the new video game console.

Best Buy and Walmart have already halted their online sales and pre-orders. However, for those who are unable to pre-order, both retailers will be offering a limited number of the new console to walk-in customers. The walk-in purchases will start at 12:01, as such, fans are advised to go to these retailers early for a higher chance to get the hybrid video game console.

Target will be offering the Nintendo Switch both through their online shop and physical stores starting on March 3. Walk-in customers can purchase the new video game console at 8AM. Target is yet to release any information as to the exact time when the online orders will go live.

Amazon has already exhausted its allocation of the new Nintendo console. Amazon customers are, however, advised to sign up on the retailer's website to get notified if new Nintendo Switch stocks will be available.

For those who are very eager to play the highly anticipated "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" GameStop will be their best option to purchase the Nintendo Switch Online. GameStop will be releasing two bundles on March 3.

The GameStop "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" Nintendo Switch bundle will come with the game plus an official "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" guide and a Pro controller for $454.99. A cheaper bundle, which goes for $429.99, will also be offered but without the game guide.
