Lenovo Partners With Bluestack To Bring Android Apps To Windows 8
Ever wanted to run Android applications on a Windows-based personal computer but didn't know how? You probably never heard of Bluestacks. Lenovo has teamed up with the company to bring its Android App Player to Lenovo Windows 8-based PCs, though it is not certain how useful this deal would be.
With Bluestack Android App Player, Windows 8 computer users have the option to synchronize their favorite apps and messages between smartphones and computers. It is said to be seamless and works really well, better so with more powerful hardware.

Our alliance with BlueStacks puts us in a unique position to offer the most popular games and apps on flagship PC products like the Horizon Table PC in order to give our customers engaging user experiences," noted Lenovo's VP of Worldwide Marketing.
To bring Android apps to PC, Bluestacks does not use a Virtual Machine or Android as one may expect. Instead, Bluestacks runs an emulation of Android's Dalvik JVM on top of Windows; however, doing it in this manner does not guarantee that all Android applications will work properly. It's a good idea, but Android users who may be expecting the full experience should prepare themselves for a disappointment.

If recent Bluestack Android App Player testing is anything to go by, bugs should be plentiful.
