Nokia Lumia 930 Windows Phone 8.1 powerhouse goes up for pre-order in UK

Nokia unveiled its Lumia 930 back at its BUILD 2014 developer conference, introducing the new handset as its latest Lumia flagship. The device is packed with high-end specs and features all around and it boasts Microsoft's latest mobile operating system, which brings notable improvements over previous iterations.
"The Nokia Lumia 930 comes with the latest Windows Phone experience, so the things that matter most are always with you whether you're on your smartphone, Xbox or PC. Exclusive LiveTiles keep you up to speed with what's happening in your world, while new features like customisable background images for your home screen make Windows Phone 8.1 more personal than ever," touts Nokia.
"Designed to fit comfortably in your hand and in your pocket, the Nokia Lumia 930 comes in colours ranging from stylishly subtle to vibrantly vogue. And with a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, 4G LTE connectivity, built-in wireless charging and a 5", Full HD display with astonishing sunlight readability, and it's all the great Lumia innovation wrapped in a premium package."
Unlocked Mobiles is now taking pre-orders for the Nokia Lumia 930, offering the handset for £478.98 including VAT (£399.15 before taxes). For those looking to get the device subsidized, WPCentral has recently spotted a display promoting the Lumia 930 at a local Carphone Warehouse store. Carphone Warehouse is yet to confirm pre-orders, but the display showed a contract price of £99 upfront, followed by equal monthly installments of £28. The display in question further reveals that the SIM-free Lumia 930 from Carphone Warehouse will cost £479.95.
UK retailers Expansys and Clove have also confirmed pre-orders for the Nokia Lumia 930, but have yet to reveal pricing details. Starting on July 17, the Lumia 930 will be available from Vodafone, EE, Phones 4U, O2, Carphone Warehouse, Tesco, and Amazon.
In terms of color options, the smartphone will come in bright orange, bright green, and black, while a white color option will be exclusively available from Phones 4U.
Microsoft will also be running an attractive promotion to further sweeten the deal, offering some neat freebies when purchasing the Nokia Lumia 930. Interested buyers who get the smartphone between July 17 and 31 from any retailer will get an additional wireless charger for free, as well as an MD-12 speaker and a voucher worth £20 of free apps from the Windows Store. The freebies are worth £130 in total.
