Acer C720 Chromebook upgraded with fourth-gen Intel Core i3, starts at $350
Alexandra BurlacuAcer is bolstering its Chromebook offerings with the addition of two new Acer C720 models that pack Intel Core i3 processors under the hood.
The two new Chromebook models from Acer are the C720-3871 and C720-3404, and prices start at $350.
The base model, i.e. the Acer C720-3871 priced at $350, comes with 2GB of RAM, an Intel Core i3 processor, Intel HD Graphics, and a 32GB solid state disk (SSD). The Chromebook has an 11.6-inch HD display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and offers a strong battery performance of up to 8.5 hours. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI, and USB 3.0.
Acer has also launched a higher-priced model for $380, the C720-3404. This model comes with the same specs as the C720-3871, but with 4GB of RAM.

Furthermore, the third-generation Acer Chromebook is 30 percent thinner than its predecessor and weighs in at just over two pounds, allowing for greater portability. The 11.6-inch HD display is anti-glare, which means that users can enjoy the Chromebook even outside, in the sunlight. When it comes to data storage, the Acer C720 Chromebook automatically backs up all files online, keeping them secure. The device also comes with 100GB of free online storage on Google Drive for two years.
