AT&T Nexus 9 LTE comes with $100 bill credit when purchased on contract

The Nexus 9 LTE has finally made its commercial debut recently and AT&T is now sweetening the deal with $100 credit when purchasing the device on-contract.

Marking the revival of a collaboration between Google and HTC, the Nexus 9 is widely considered one of the hottest tablets of this year. The slate comes with top-notch specs and features all around, as well as a neat design and the much-touted Nexus experience that guarantees timely updates to the latest version of Android.

The Nexus 9 is also the first tablet to rock the new Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box, as it served as one of the launch vehicles for the new OS back in October.

Many devices out there come in both Wi-Fi-only and Wi-Fi + Cellular flavors, and the Nexus 9 is no exception. Wi-Fi-only versions of devices typically hit the market first and are more affordable, while LTE models arrive slightly later and commend a heftier investment for the cellular connectivity.

As previously mentioned, the LTE model of the Nexus 9 just started selling recently, available on T-Mobile, AT&T, and the Google Play store. The device is definitely not cheap, but AT&T now has a neat promotion in tow for those who agree to purchase a Nexus 9 LTE with a two-year contract agreement.

More specifically, interested customers who get the LTE tablet on-contract with AT&T will receive a $100 credit to their account. It's worth pointing out, however, that AT&T doesn't have the Nexus 9 LTE on its website for now, so customers have to make their purchase through Google Play at this link in order to take advantage of this offer.

"Customers can receive a $100 bill credit when they activate their Nexus 9 with a two-year agreement at an AT&T company-owned store. The Nexus 9 is certified to work on the network with the nation's strongest LTE signal, making this a perfect pairing," touted AT&T.

It remains unclear at this point for how long this promotion will run, but it is most likely available as a limited-time deal. AT&T may be offering this credit as part of a holiday promotion, which means that the deal may expire soon.
