Sony Xperia E4 debuts with entertainment in mind, two-day battery life (VIDEO)
Alexandra BurlacuSony has officially announced a new smartphone called the Xperia E4, targeted at consumers who want entertainment and long battery life from their handset.
The new Sony Xperia E4 comes in both single-SIM and dual-SIM variants and wil be available in black or white color options. When it comes to specs and features, the Xperia E4 and E4 Dual are identical.
In terms of hardware, the Xperia E4 has a 5-inch qHD display with a resolution of 960 x 640 pixels and features a 1.3GHz MTK MT6582 quad-core processor under the hood, paired with 1GB of RAM. Other specs include 8GB of internal storage capacity, microSD support for additional memory, a 5-megapixel rear camera with HDR and a number of neat features, and a 2-megapixel front shooter with 720p video recording capabilities.
A 2,300 mAh battery will keep things up and running, delivering up to 12 hours and 11 minutes of talk time on GSM networks and up to 696 hours of standby, or up to 12 hours and 43 minutes of talk time on UMTS networks.

Both the single-SIM and the dual-SIM versions of the Sony Xperia E4 will make their commercial debut in mid-February, but the company has yet to provide an exact launch date or pricing details.
