LG G Pad F 8.0 launching on AT&T next Friday, May 29
Alexandra BurlacuThe LG G Pad F 8.0 is officially ready to join AT&T's lineup next week, set to become available for purchase on May 29.
The tablet comes with some neat specifications on board, including a stylus accessory, albeit it's not exactly the highest-end slate out there. Nevertheless, the LG G Pad F 8.0's specs are more than decent for the price tag it sports.
For those unfamiliar with the device, the LG G Pad F 8.0 features an 8-inch IPS display with an HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and packs a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor under the hood, clocked at 1.2GHz and paired with Adreno 305 graphics (the amount of RAM remains unspecified for now). Other specs include 16GB of internal storage capacity, microSD support for additional memory of up to 128GB, a 5-megapixel rear camera, and a 4,200 mAh battery.
The tablet also includes a neat software feature called QPair, which will allow users to answer calls and reply to messages received on their compatible Android smartphone. The stylus accessory, meanwhile, allows users to easily take notes in QuickMemo+, while the Dual Window feature will facilitate multitasking.
"Looking for a new tablet that keeps you in the loop and entertained without breaking the bank? AT&T's newest addition to its tablet selection is versatile, making it easy to switch between work and fun, and at an affordable price," the carrier touts in a new press release.
"The G Pad F is a portable eight-inch tablet with an HD+ display stretching nearly from edge to edge, giving you maximum screen space to check out the latest sports highlights or watch that new video your friends are talking about. The tablet's One Glass Solution and Zero Gap technology provide a clear and bright picture in nearly any type of lighting."
The LG G Pad F 8.0 will officially go on sale in AT&T retail stores as well as the carrier's website starting next Friday, May 29. The slate will be available for $0 down and $12.50 per month with an AT&T Tablet Installment plan, or $149.99 with a two-year contract. Interested customers can also add the LG G Pad F 8.0 to a new or existing Mobile Share Value plan for $10 per month.
