Brace yourselves for the upcoming “smart” UsBidi charger
Mary Cris BalancioWith talks of AI-based systems and clever assistants flying around one after the other, it's difficult to think of anything else other than these seemingly cool smartphone trends, apps and what not. So it might not be a surprise that talks of another "clever" or "intelligent" gadget has been unleashed into our modern society.
So deciding to check what that is, I admit I was a bit skeptical. I was expecting something else like a smartphone or even a robot; I wasn't expecting to see of all things - "a charger!" This is the all new "UsBidi Charger." It turns out, that this charger has added features that make it "smart" in a way.
According to UsBidi, each year the devices being produced keeps on getting better, faster, and smarter while the charging tech gets left behind. So seeing the need for a better charger, they are now going to launch a charger that will be worthy of our latest devices which will be more reliable, has features like battery saving, time saving and something that is mess or tangle free.
So what are the features that make it such an amazing charger? Let's list it here and let you decide what you think about them. The first feature that UsBidi charger has is its automatic shut-off feature. This feature will automatically stop charging your phone once it was fully charged. UsBidi is said to be created with an intelligent built-in PCB which is responsible for shutting off the charging circuit completely once the battery is full.
So you don't have to worry about checking it and even unplugging it. With this feature, your smartphone or tablet is spared from heat and mini charging that happens to be the main cause of your batteries dying. With this in mind, the battery life is extended. UsBidi also claims that one of its features is its ability to charge your devices twice as fast on computer usb than your regular charger.
How? The UsBidi charger has a touch switch that stops data synching if pressed so that all power available will be redirected to boosting the charging speed. UsBidi chargers also has LED indicators that will allow you to know your charging status without having to check your phone.
And last but not the least, this charger is made with magnetic ends, making it mess free and easier to store anywhere you'd like to. The team who created UsBidi estimates that their chargers might begin shipping in February. But for those interested in their Kickstarter campaign, you can pick one already at 18 USD. The UsBidi chargers are available in either the micro usb or lightning cables and come at a variety of cable lengths to choose from.
