ZTE brings back more techie news and this time it is with their latest ZTE Blade 7. In February, the public has been greeted with ZTE's Blade S6 and it seems like it is not done surprising the public. The new ZTE S7 ups the ante with materials and specs better than the S6. One such example is the build of the smartphone. For Blade S6 it has a plastic build, while Blade S7 has aluminium build.

ZTE Blade S7 also comes with a 2.5D Gorilla Glass. It has the same LCD display as that of the S6, which is 5 inches. However, the Blade S7 has a 72.1% screen to body ratio, a 445 ppi and a better resolution at 1920 x 1080. The front of the phone is mounted with a rectangular fingerprint sensor in its home button, which looks a bit peculiar but makes its functionality efficient and worth it. In addition to the standard unlocking feature, the sensor also controls the access to encrypted files and lets the user create shortcuts to selected apps.

The latest smartphone from Huawei is also said to be running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop on a Snapdragon 615 processor. It has 3 GB RAM and up to 32 GB of internal storage. What might be the most talked about spec of this phone are the two 13 MP cameras it features. The camera, which is good for selfies, comes with a dedicated flash, a phase detection autofocus feature and 14 photo editing options. For the rear camera, it has laser autofocus. ZTE also takes pride in being able to add Magic Gestures features to the Blade 7 phone.

Blade S7 is expected to go on sale in Thailand first then the rest of the Asian market will follow. As of now there is no news of when it will be available for the rest of the world. It will be available in four different colors, namely, Lemon Green, Rose Gold, Diamond White and Space Gray.

Though ZTE has yet to make an announcement regarding its official price, the Blade S7 is already up for pre-orders at several Chinese retailers amounting to about 280 USD.
