The public might be in for a treat, Samsung's flip smartphone might be released soon. Last month if anyone could recall, the flip smartphone or Samsung Galaxy Golden 3 has passed the GFXBench standards. This week it has been revealed that it has now been certified by China's regulatory agency, TENAA. Given these certifications, one wouldn't stop assuming that this long anticipated smartphone might be launched soon.

Being recently certified, specs and features about this flip phone have been leaked to the public. It was also rumored to be having the same specs as the Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On6 smartphones, which were just launched last month in India. But there will be difference in the screen size and processor.

Basing on the information leaked at TENAA, Golden 3 will be using a dual Amoled technology on its 3.8 inch screens (both the internal and external ones). It will be having a stunning display at 1280 x 768 MP resolution. It will be 15.1 mm thick and will weigh 204 grams. Samsung Galaxy Golden 3 is said to also be running Android 5.1 Lollipop at a 2.1 GHz octa-core processor.

It has 3 GB RAM and non-expandable internal memory storage of 64 GB. Aside from these features, Golden 3 will also have a 5 MP front camera and a 16 MP rear camera - the same as what Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ have. The front camera has autofocus for full HD video calls, selfies and chats.

Meanwhile, the rear camera has an Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) feature that enables the user to have stable images even with shaky hands and no tripods involved. It will also feature face detection and LED-flash. The flip smartphone will also be having Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, MicroUSB 2.0 and GPS/A-GPS as its connection options.

It could be recalled that the original Galaxy Golden was first launched in 2013 in India selling at 51,900 INR or about 1,106 AUD. The price was later on decreased. It has a model number of SM-W2-14 while Golden 2 has SM-W2015. Golden 3 is said to be having SM-W2016 as its model number. As of now, no announcement has been made yet by Samsung, making the Golden 3 remain unconfirmed.
