Vaporcade’s Jupiter Cellular Phone: The Device One Could Literally Smoke
Mary Cris BalancioGood news for smokers! A smartphone specifically made to accommodate smoking urges is here. One can now text, call, check your messages, take a selfie and indulge in their vape addiction using just one single device. A phone that one can literally smoke is here.
The Vaporcade Jupiter is being called as the world's first ever, and so far only, cellular vaporizer. Based on released images, the device looks like it is one part phone and one part vape gadget.
Vaporcade Jupiter, according to reports, will be running Android KitKat 4.4 and will have an LED light band. For the vape features it has Vaporcade's proprietary vaping app plus a shuttle that can deliver 30 nectar flavors and also allows combination of flavors. The site is a bit vague but the flavors could be sold separately. There will also be a mouthpiece that comes with an optional hookah nose.
The device is reportedly made by Vaporcade together with Herbert A. Gilbert who has been recognized for being the first to invent and patent the electronic cigarette in the 1965. The other co-founders of the company are Seamus Blackley and John Cameron who are known for bringing video games to life and for being the brother and consultant of famous Hollywood director James Cameron, respectively.
Vaporcade said in a post that they have worked hard to be able to come out with this vaping phone with limitless applications. They believe that their latest device will change the world. They also said that they are excited to share this latest device which they think can provide a life-altering experience. Soon, they hope that they will be able to offer their consumers a way that they can vape their fluids, medicines or nutraceuticals by just using their Jupiter phone.
Right now, all enthusiasts can go and check their site to reserve a unit with a refundable deposit. Currently there are two options that users can select from; they can select a 3G version or a 4G LTE version. The slots 1-1,000 are already not available. It could mean that they have already have other backers who have filled it up and are (probably) already testing the phones.
The Jupiter 3G Cellular Vaping Phone can only be availed at $299 USD for those who chose to be in the 1,001-10,000 slots which ships by December 2015. Those who are opting to get it cheaper and doesn't mind waiting until early 2016, they can deposit $99 USD at first and then pay the full price later on.
Meanwhile, the Jupiter 4G LTE Cellular Vaping Phone version comes at $499 USD for those willing to get into slot numbers 1,001-10,000 which ships by December 2015. Those who want to get it at a cheaper rate and doesn't mind waiting until early 2016, can deposit $99 USD at first and then pay the price in full later on. For now due to high demand, one user can only buy up to five units.
