ASUS Unveils Another Phone; The ZenFone Goes to India Just Before 2015 Ends
Mary Cris BalancioAnother smartphone has made it to India, this time under the tech company Asus. The Taiwanese tech company has just unveiled its new 3G-enabled smartphone with a 4.5-inch display. Asus Regional head/South Asia division Peter Chang said that the company is happy that its ZenFone smartphones have been garnering great responses from its Indian consumers. They are thus certain that the latest ZenFone Go ZC451TG smartphone model the company has just launched will please its consumers as well.
The latest budget smartphone from the Taiwanese manufacturer is a dual-SIM-enabled model that has a 480 x 854 FWVGA display resolution, which is responsible for clear vivid colors. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop on a 1.3GHz MediaTek quad-core processor. It allows multitasking without lags with its 1GB RAM. It also comes with an internal memory of 8GB, which can be expandable through a microSD card up to 64 GB.
The handset comes with 100GB of Google Drive storage that is free for two years and comes with an additional 5GB lifetime ASUS web storage. ZenFone Go sports a 5-megapixel primary rear shooter that has an F2.0 aperture and auto focus, plus a 0.3-megapixel secondary front shooter that can deliver stunning images with its fix focus feature.
The latest ASUS phone also supports GPS, aGPS and Bluetooth v4.0 in terms of connectivity. It comes with device sensors for accelerator, e-compass, proximity and ambient light sensor. The ZenFone Go model is powered by a removable 1600 mAh polymer battery. This latest smartphone from ASUS is produced in four color variants--charcoal black, pearl white, rouge pink and flash blue.
The colors have been chosen in order to accommodate the company users' personality and color preferences. Consumers can now purchase the new ASUS ZenFone Go model through the e-commerce platform Flipkart for ₹5,299 INR. The latest handheld device from the Taiwanese company can also be purchased at ASUS' exclusive stores starting the second week of January 2016.
