Samsung's next generation Galaxy J2, aka Galaxy J2 (2016), has been exposed on Geekbench, GFXBench and AnTuTu. Its predecessor has had great success after debuted last year.
Galaxy J2 (2016) will reportedly sport a 1.2 GHz Spreadtrum SC8830 processor, Mali 400 GPU, a 5-inch, 720 x 1280 display, 16 GB of internal storage, and two cameras.
Galaxy J2 (2016) will most likely run the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, just like J2 ran then-latest firmware. However, some of the details on Geekbench, GFXBench and AnTuTu are different. We still do not know which is the real one, probably all of them are false.
GFXBench alleged that J2(2016) will adopt Spreadtrum's quad-core, 1.5 GHz SC9830 processor, with 4G LTE support. However, AnTuTu suggested the device will outfit Spreadtrum SC8830 with 3G-support only. Given that the J2 have 4G support, we believe J2(2016) will have it too.
Reports also suggested the Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016) will carry an 8-megapixel rear shooter with LED flash, featuring autofocus and 1080p video recording, and a 5-megapixel front facing camera.
Samsung still have not officially announced the existence of J2(2016). The Korean tech giant most recently announced the Galaxy J5 (2016) and Galaxy J7 (2016). Therefore, Galaxy J2(2016) may well be on the way.
