The investigation into Prince's death continues as authorities have gone ahead to issue a search warrant for his medical records and to dig further to what really happened in Paisley Park before he was left unconscious.

The search warrant was commenced by Carver County Sheriff's Office after doctor for family medicine, Dr. Michael Todd Schulenberg admitted that he had given Prince prescription medicines- the specifics are still kept away from the public- on April 7, reported LA Times

"More than a dozen law enforcement cars drive thru gates of Paisley Park in the investigation of Prince's death," News anchor for CBS Angela Davis tweeted on May 10. She updated the public 20 minutes later thru another tweet, saying that the Carver County detectives revisited the scene while the crew initiated to film the event.

However, it is still unclear if the late musician followed the instructions of the doctor, as per IB Times. He may have used different identities to acquire Percocet because according to the website, it is "controlled substance."

And what are the results? "Results are pending. This is an ongoing investigation in partnership with the Carver County Sheriff's Office. We will have no further comment at this time," according to the Sheriff's office.

However, KISS frontman Gene Simmons says that Prince is "pathetic for killing himself." "Don't kid yourself, that's what he did. Slowly, I'll grant you... but that's what drugs and alcohol is: a slow death,"  quoted The Wrap.

The rockstar also believes that Prince died of drugs while saying that David Bowie's death was a tragic one because it was due to "real sickness." Simmons also claimed that he is clean of drugs and alcohol, saying that it is a matter of choice whether musicians will succumb to the "cliche" that drugs come long with fame.
