Different news about Android-based products has also been present online. And those who made the headlines are the rumored Nexus 7 launch delay, Samsung Galaxy Note 6 leaks, and updates about the OnePlus 3, and the operating system itself.
A couple of days ago, several websites reported that the release of Nexus 7 has been delayed because the company is waiting for the Android N to be released. While these speculations are not yet proven, Christian Times noted that fans are disappointed when the product was not announced during the latest Google I/O Developers Conference.
On the other hand, PC Advisor guessed that the launch might be between September and October once the Android N became popular. According to the media outlet, the upcoming product might sport a 7in Quad-HD pressure-sensitive display, with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820/Nvidia Tegra X1 processor and a 4GB RAM and MicroSD support up to an enormous 2TB.
Meanwhile, the information about the new Samsung Galaxy Note 6 also surfaced on the Internet this past week. As per Gotta Be Mobile, the hybrid device will have features like IP68 dust and water resistant up to 5ft for over 30 minutes.
Samsung might also use a new technology, which the phones will have a Retina or Iris scanner to replace the fingerprint scanner. How does that work? The website claimed that users can unlock the device by only looking at it.
Here are some of the speculated features and specs for reference: The flagship device could also have a 5.8-inch 2560 x 1440 Quad-HD display run by Samsung Exynos 8-core processor with 6GB of RAM. More than that, it might have a 36/64GB Storage with micro-SD support to expand storage and operated by Android 6.0 or the Android N.
For other special features, the phone could sport a 12 DualPixel Camera with 5-8 MP Front Camera. Rumored to have a premium all-metal design, it might have a fold-out S-Pen stylus that doubles as a kickstand with fast wired and wireless charging capacity.
Lastly, OnePlus 3 has been confirmed by the FCC, meaning, that the fans should be expecting the release very soon. GSM Arena reported a few days ago that that phone is said to have a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC. It also has a 4GB of RAM plus 64GB of expandable storage.
For Android updates, 9to5 Google reports that the company offers Dominos Pizza for those who want to update their device which runs Android.
