Frontwire Studios has officially confirmed and revealed that the "Star Wars: Battlefront 3" entitled "Galaxy in Turmoil" will be released in Steam.

Initially, the developers faced doubts on whether the game will be published on Steam Greenlight or Steam proper due to using the Star Wars IP. However, recently they broke the news with a big announcement.

Frontwire president, Tony Romanelli said that, "It is with great pleasure that as of today I am able to officially announce that Frontwire Studios has officially signed a distribution deal with Steam/Valve for the game Galaxy in Turmoil," according to Kotaku.

"After ongoing discussion between Valve Representatives and myself, Valve/Steam has agreed to ship Galaxy in Turmoil to its millions of users for free," the statement continued.

The company took the release of the fan remake of "Star Wars: Battlefront III" as their accomplishment as well as a huge challenge for them and the community. Furthermore, the "Galaxy in Turmoil's" availability on Steam will feature more "validation and awareness" for new users, according to Frontwire Studios, LLC.

"On a final note; People have been expressed their concern as of late, saying they expect us to get a Cease & Desist from Disney," said Romanelli, reported by PC Mag.

"I'll be honest I've had mild concerns myself from time to time. However Valve clearly lacks that same concern. By agreeing to publish Galaxy in Turmoil, Valve is assisting us in growing and ensuring the longevity of the Galaxy in Turmoil project and community as a whole," as the post continued.

Furthermore, along with the announcement was a screenshot image of the game in Steam but it's not yet available on the platform. It was reported the multiplayer game can have up to 64 gamers in a match and will be powered by Unreal Engine 4.

On the other hand, Frontwire president said that, "We are NOT here to bash EA, or try to make ourselves out to be better than them, or make Disney feel bad. We need them to love us and support what we're doing because it's important they do."

The company's goal in producing the fan remake of "Star Wars: Battlefront 3" is to "create memories" with new people with the help of the game.
