The much-awaited Asus Zenfone 3 is all set to feature the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 821 processor along with its other two variants, Zenfone 3 Deluxe and Zenfone 3 Ultra. The reports suggest that Asus' latest smartphone will thus become faster than the Samsung Galaxy S7 device with its latest specs i.e. the 2.3 GHz processor speed.
The Verge reported that with the Snapdragon 821 chip, Asus Zenfone 3 would become around seven percent faster as compared to its predecessors. The smartphone is also expected to sport an Adreno 530 GPU specs.
Further, there are reports that the smartphone will feature specs like a full metallic body with a brand-new invisible antenna design. Android Pit reported that the Asus Zenfone 3 is expected to showcase a 5.7-inch display screen with Super AMOLED display.
Besides, the smartphone from Asus will also sport a 6 GB RAM with a 23-MP camera. It is also reported that the camera would also consist of an optical image stabilization functionality along with other specs like dual LED flash and laser autofocus. The front camera of Asus Zenfone 3 is also expected to feature an 8 mega pixel front-facing camera, reported Australian News Network. Also, the smartphone is also reported to consist of 1080-pixel video recording capacity.
The other specs of the Asus smartphone are reported as the Wi-Fi, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth, and LTE connectivity. GMS Arena claimed that the Zenfone 3 will consist of a different storage capacity of 64 GB or 128 GB or 256 GB based on its three types of variants i.e. the base Zenfone 3 model or Zenfone 3 Deluxe or Zenfone 3 Ultra.
Many reports have also stated that the upcoming smartphone will consist of a micro SD card feature with an expansion facility up to 128 GB. It is also reported that the Zenfone 3 smartphone will also sport a fingerprint sensor and a 3000 mAh battery.
With all the rumors about the much-awaited smartphone, News Everyday reported that the Asus Zenfone 3 might be slated for the August release in the third quarter of the year. The reports also hint at the possibility that the smartphone would be priced at $499.
