MacBook Pro 2016 To Feature Metal Injection Molding Hinges
Dheeraj RWith the rumors about the MacBook Pro 2016 are trending all over the internet, the latest update suggests that the new notebook from Apple will consist of metal injection molding hinges. There are reports that one of the manufacturers of the technology giant has already started shipping the MIM hinges and thus, has created a stir over the internet about the early availability of the MacBook Pro.
Mac Rumors reported that a China-based company, Jarllytec, has manufactured the MIM hinges for the upcoming 15-inch MacBook Ro 2016. The reports suggest that the same company had earlier made similar hinges for the 13-inch MacBooks'.
Further, there are reports that the metal molding hinges will help to make the MacBook Pro 2016 structural design thinner as compared to its predecessors. It is also reported that the new hinges will allow the laptop users to hold the screen at various angles and balance the notebook.
Moving on, News Everyday claimed that Apple might make an announcement of the release date of its much-awaited MacBook Pro 2016 laptop during the company's World Wide Developer Conference event, starting next week.
With that said, few reports also suggest that the probability that the new device would be unveiled at the upcoming event has increased because of the hinges shipping gossips. Inquisitr claimed that Apple is all set to launch the device next week and would start shipping the MacBook Pro 2016 few months' later i.e. in September.
Meanwhile, with the rumors about the design and release date of the laptop, Power Page reported that the new MacBook Pro 2016 will sport a secondary OLED screen and improvised design. The touch bar is expected to replace the row of function keys above the traditional keyboard with various application shortcuts.
The new laptop series is also reported to feature four USB Type-C ports with Touch Id sensors for added security. Few reports also suggest that the MacBook Pro 2016 device will feature a 3.5 mm audio jack on the right-hand side while the USB ports will be placed on the left side.
In addition to all the specs, Apple Insider reported that Apple's notebook will also consist of Intel Skylake processor with AMD's Polaris graphics card.
