As the much awaited annual gaming conference in the world known as at E3 2016 is near approaching, Nintendo has its fair share of information on what their fans have to expect.

The company will be hosting The Nintendo Treehouse: Live on June 14 at 9 a.m. PST or 5 p.m. BST instead of their usual Nintendo Direct event and will have a live stream available via Twitch, YouTube and on their website, according to IGN.

It has been confirmed that "The Legend of Zelda" will be the only playable game to be featured and have the spotlight during the show. The company also announced that the upcoming presentation will be "the world's first in-depth look at the game," according to GameSpot.

"To ensure attendees are able to truly experience the freedom of exploration the game offers, 'The Legend of Zelda' for Wii U will be Nintendo's focus of the show this year, and will be the only playable game in Nintendo's booth via extended demos," as continued.

Furthermore, Nintendo will also showcase new 3DS games during the E3 2016 event. Fans could expect to see games such as "Pokemon Sun and Moon," "Dragon Quest VII," "Monster Hunter Generations" and "Tokyo Mirage Sessions," reported by The Independent.

Although fans were anticipating more information about the Nintendo NX console, the company expressed that no further details will be revealed before its release date in March 2017.

Meanwhile, a Nintendo eShop sale will happen on June 21 from at 11 a.m. PT 'til 8:59 a.m PT. Some of the most popular games will be up with a discounted price as well as Nintendo members who sign-in will receive special bonus if they purchase selected games during the sale.

For those who haven't register yet, the company encourages fans to do so. Also, they will offer extra discount to members who will connect their account with their designated Nintendo Network ID in accessing the eShop before purchasing, according to Comingsoon.net.

As of the moment, Nintendo fans have to wait until the E3 2016 event to know more about Nintendo's surprises.
