Bandai Namco announced during the E3 2016 event that the fighting game, "Tekken 7" release date will be in "early 2017" on Xbox One, according to GameSpot.
Michael Murray and producer, Katsuhiro Harada shared the information on June 13 during the conference. After a while, the company also announced that the game will be introduced to PC through Steam.
Furthermore, the game will have a new cinematic story mode along with action-packed gameplay. It will also feature the Unreal Engine 4, enhanced graphics quality to showcase the characters in a new perspective, reported by GameNGuide.
The upcoming "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" will follow the events in Mishima blood saga that took 20 years and finally ending the family feud among the clan members, who risked the world's safety to achieve their ambition in taking over the giant empire.
It was revealed that there will be more than 30 playable characters, including both new and classic fighters. Each has their individual set of unique skills, combo, moves and fighting techniques. One-on-one battles will also be present once the game will be available.
Battle mechanics such as "Power Crushes,"Rage Arts" and "Rage Drives" will be present and available to be accessed by players in all levels, reported by PlayStation Lifestyle.
Meanwhile, players will expect to see "Street Fighter" villain, Akuma as Bandai Namco streamed the latest game trailer. Fans have been anticipating the two big fighting franchise crossover when it was announced in 2015, according to The Verge.
The footage showed the battle between Akuma and Heihachi Mishima in a cinematic scene, which the former delivered a line and said, "fulfilling a promise."
On the other hand, Harada and Murray announced that Xbox Live Gold members can access the Tekken Tag Tournament 2 for free this week.
Bandai Namco confirmed that the game will also be coming for PS4 but they didn't disclose its specific date information.
Fans have to wait until further details are released by the company about "Tekken 7" before its release date in 2017.
