The Chinese electronics company believes that the device can compete in the current trend and will be their key on stepping up their level in the industry. They also claimed that developers have put invested their efforts to develop their "IT" product, according to Techradar India.
The Smartphone's specifications boasts a 5.5 inch screen with 1920x100 display in full HD, it's running under Android 5.1.1 Lollipop which is integrated with MIUI 7 for its interface and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 SoC.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 comes in two variants the 16 GB, which is equipped with 2GB of RAM and equipped with a 4,000mAh for the battery. While the 32GB unit has 3GB RAM and a longer battery life of 4,050mAh. Both of the units have Quick Charge functionality.
In terms of connectivity, it has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 4G. It also has dual SIM capability designed for nano and micro. If the user decides to use only one SIM tray, the available one can be utilized to be a microSD slot to expand the storage upto 128GB.
Furthermore, the smartphone has 16MP for its main camera and 5MP for the front facing one along with a dual LED flash.
It was reported that it has a fingerprint scanner located at the back right below the camera that can unlock the phone within 0.3-second timeframe. According to the company, the device is capable of storing up to 5 fingerprints into its system.
During the launching event, Vice President of International for Xiaomi Hugo Barra also showed that Redmi Note 3 is capable of detecting the owner's lip mark as a security authentication measure.
As of the moment, the company continues to grow and extend their phone lines as they plan to launch a new product in the market. They will introduce a 6.44-inch phablet called Xiaomi Mi Max, reported by The Indian Express.
For consumers who are interested in Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 it costs $189 and is available in Gray, Silver and Gold, according to Xiaomi Store.
