Google Nexus 2016 October Release Date Hinted Via Android 7.0 Nutella Rumors
Dheeraj RWith the trending rumors about the much-awaited Android N operating system all over the internet, few reports have emerged hinting at the possibility of the October release date of Google Nexus 2016 device.
The upcoming OS from Google is expected to be released by August or September this year, according to Know Your Mobile. The rumors about the release date of the Android N OS surfaced after the US-based technology giant unveiled the fourth preview during the Google IO Developer Conference.
The reports suggest that if the September release date of the Android N OS turns out to be true then there are high chances that the Google Nexus 2016 device will witness the October release date. The upcoming seventh installment of the Nexus device will feature the new operating system and hence, the speculations have emerged that the Google Nexus 2016 will be released just after the OS launch in the same quarter.
Besides, it is reported that generally Google releases all its new smartphones with the latest Android on board in the third quarter of the year. This trend has also lead to the assumption that the Nexus 2016 device would probably have an October release date.
Meanwhile, with all the reports about the Google Nexus 7 release date, there are rumors that the new operating system from the technology giant would probably be called as Android 7.0 Nutella. The speculations about the name of the OS surfaced after Android's senior VP, Hiroshi Lockheimer, recently tweeted a picture in which he can be seen searching for the term 'Nutella' on Google.
Apart from the release date rumors, there are reports that the upcoming Google Nexus 7 2016 device will sport a 7-inch screen with Snapdragon 820 processor and 4 GB RAM. The smartphone is also expected to feature an expandable storage up to 2 TB.
On the other hand, the Android N operating system will boast of many new features like multi-window support and picture-in-picture callback option. It is also stated that the new OS will enhance the look and feel of the Android devices to a greater extent.
