The upcoming fighting video game, Injustice 2: Gods Among Us, is all set to take the raise the tempo of the fighting games with its exceptional features and hero-vs.-hero or hero-vs.-villain playing options. The developers, NetherRealm Studio unveiled the action game during the recent E3 gaming event with new gear system and excellent customization options.

Game Spot reported that the upcoming second installment of the Injustice game series has been launched with some major changes. The gear system in the Injustice 2: Gods Among Us is slated to sport different items, fighter moves, and abilities, which will be unlocked for the fighters as the game progresses.

Further, the gear system in the upcoming fighting game is reported to consist of different customization options with the help of which the players can mix and match their gears, change the stats, perks, abilities of the game's characters and even increase strengths of the fighters with options like offensive, defensive or combination character.

Apart from the customization options, the players also have various options of equipping themselves with different gears like head gear, belts, chest plates and arm & leg pieces. This flexibility of choosing the gears will enable the players to design their ideal fighter in the Injustice 2: Gods Among Us game.

Besides, the creative director Ed Boon explained that the key features that would be revealed in the near future would include player customization options with the facility to unlock items, without the need to pay up front. Boon also teased that the new fighting game would feature a more aggressive approach as compared to its predecessor.

Moreover, the fighting game features many new DLC characters like the Supergirl, Red Lantern, Batman, Superman, the housecat Dax-Starr, Aquaman and Wonder Woman.

VG 247 reported that one of the excellent character additions to the Injustice 2: Gods Among Us game is that of Gorilla Grodd, who is capable of using the combination of aggressive moves with telepathic abilities to defeat his enemies.

Another new character, who is trending at the moment, is Atrocitus. He is reported to possess the ability to strike bloodier attacks as compared to other characters. Also, next in the line is the agilest and the stealthier character called as Combat. IGN reported that each of the superhero characters in the game features a special super-move, which has been designed to their advantage.

Injustice 2: Gods Among Us is expected to be released in 2017 for the Xbox One and PS4 gaming platforms with lots of DLC perks.
