'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' Will Have A New Hero? System Enhanced To Welcome More Players
Krezna de los ReyesSince the announcement of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" during the E3 2016, fans are looking forward for more details about the upcoming game.
It was reported that developer Dimps, along with Banda Namco Entertainment, will soon introduce the sequel to Akira Toriyama's creation to the public. Fans of the upcoming role-playing video game are anticipating that the new installment will continue its predecessor's fame and offer a whole new gaming experience, according to iTech Post.
Meanwhile, the next installment will include a feature that will allow gamers to customize their avatar. Also, they will have a choice to select their preferred race and cross to different locations using their selected character. Its system has also been enhanced to allow more gamers to play at the same time unlike the previous one.
"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" gameplay will also showcase new combat skills and abilities for the characters as well as an item that lets players to move from one place to another for PC, PS4 and Xbox One platforms.
Although Bandai Namco remained silent about the game's release date and updates, they shared insights via Jump Magazine's latest issue. It was revealed that the new protagonist is one of the Time Patrol organization, who will encounter challenges and missions to retain the history as it is, reported Siliconera.
Players could also travel to past, become Frieza's underling and eventually be hailed as the "Ruler of the Universe." The game's plot will vary and depend on how the history changes and as the story continues gamers will be able to meet Frieza's brother Cooler who just joined his tag team.
The sequel will follow the events after the Demigra incident happened during the first game where Time Patrol expanded their power as they acquired both Supreme Kai of Time and Old Kai, according to Gematsu.
The "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" release date is expected this 2016 and will be available for Xbox One, PC, and PS4.
