Nikon D500 Review, Update: Company Releases New Firmware To Fix Video Recording Issues?

For tho photography enthusiasts and Nikon DSLR users, the D500 received more reviews along with an upcoming housing for underwater stills and firmware update.

The company Sea & Sea has released new information and specifications about their product that was made specifically for the model. The gadget's housing has a built-in YS converter to conserve its battery and avoid delays when using a pop-up flash when using a fiber-optic strobe connection, according to Dive Photo Guide.

The creators of the new accessory have improved its design especially with its controls including the AF-ON, shutter, movie-record, and AF mode levers so that users will find it easier to use. It was described to feature an "ergonomic shape" along with glow-in-the-dark labels, which can be helpful for users if they visit dim surroundings.

The upcoming housing of Nikon D500 sported by Sea & Sea seems to have a revamped port lock that enables the users to change lenses and other ports without disassembling the case's back. Also, its diopter adjustment dial can also be utilized through it. The MDX-D500 will be sold at $3,599.95 and shipping will start in July.  

Meanwhile, Capture One Pro version 9.2 has now extended its support to Nikon D500 by binding itself as free. The updated editing software now offers a new set of feature and upgrades when it comes to its navigations, color management module along with organizing in just a click, reported by Digital Photography Review.

In addition, the company has recently released a new firmware specifically for the D500 camera unit.

The latest firmware dubbed as v1.10 was developed to give four enhancements as a solution to its issue and provide better capabilities for more quality photos. This time, it can store recordings of up to 29 minute 59 seconds along with 4K UHD video format and it has an Electronic VR to stabilize hand-held footages.

Its still photography settings also received few improvements including a Flicker reduction function to lessen exposure variations and 9-point dynamic-area AF, to give focus on moving objects.

Nikon claimed that their newly released system will address concerns and issues relayed through reviews for the D500 model.
