For every Pokemon fan, the arrival of 'Pokemon Go' is definitely exciting, right? However, being able to get your own pocket monster does not stop there.

A trainer would always look forward to owning a rare Pokemon, which, of course, takes time to accomplish.

As the new augmented-reality game from Niantic and The Pokemon Company is finally here, it is surely not enough that you have in your gym Weedles and Pidgeys. A trainer to be jealous of is someone who has in his possession several rare kinds of Pokemon.

In this article, we will give you a number of tips that will help you in your "Pokemon Go" journey.

1. Never run out of battery.

The number 1 lesson that Kotaku gave is for every trainer to have a back-up battery or a second phone. Well, the reason is simple. You can never afford to run out of battery when your app suddenly notifies you that there is a rare Pokemon which you can possibly catch nearby.

You also need to note that since this game is a heavy user of GPS, there is a huge chance that your battery will be drained right away.

2. Be wise in using your Poke Balls.

Do not be too quick in throwing your Poke Balls once you are playing "Pokemon Go." Wait for the ring inside the circle to be at its smallest before doing so.

If you are already at a higher level, you may start picking berries at Pokestops as well which you can feed to your wild Pokemon. Until then, your chances of catching them increase.

3. Maximize your Special Attack.

Always pay attention to your Special Attack Meter. Once you see it filled up, just press and hold your Pokemon to unleash the Special Attack.

4. Forget about laziness.

According to Attack of the Fanboy, it is very important for every trainer to keep walking.

How could you find a rare Pokemon if you do not explore every place that you are visiting? It is, therefore, a basic skill that every trainer must have.

5. Check for the Pokemon nearby.

To do this, simply tap on the option found in the left-most portion of the map screen's button. Once the list appears, decide on which "Pokemon Go" pocket monster you would like to catch.

6. Incense is the key... if you are already desperate to catch a rare Pokemon.

This item will give you better position to catch them since incense attracts any type of Pokemon nearby for a limited time.

Keep posted for more "Pokemon Go" news and updates. Happy rare Pokemon catching!
