'The Last of Us 2' Updates: No Release Date News Even After 'Uncharted 4'? What We've Seen So Far

With Naughty Dogs' "Uncharted 4," fans of "The Last of Us" are drooling even more with the virtually endless anticipation. It easy to get excited with rumors that greatly keeps the fanbase alive, but fans can certainly use some solid updates as well.

It could still be remembered from MetroCon last year that Nolan North confirmed the existence of the game or at least, its becoming. Up to this day, this is still one of the solid reasons why one will never dismiss the fact that "The Last of Us 2" will happen.

For those who have finished the game, seeing the ending left players more questions than answers.

We've had E3 2016 and it was a big letdown to some that the sequel for Naughty Dog's survival horror game was nowhere to be seen. Naughty Dog apparently had different plans set for the event, particularly with our favorite no-talk bandicoot.

"Uncharted 4" happened. It got a lot of praise and it obviously shows that a lot of work was done. Naughy Dog's creative director Neil Druckmann had all the reasons to focus on Nathan Drake at the time being.

It's been more than two months since the launch of "Uncharted," but still no word from Naughty Dog. Fans are, however, all-so-ever patient while waiting for an announcement. Sony's "The Last Guardian" had the same grueling waiting game and anybody could definitely say that it is worth the wait after it finally got a real release date.

Finding theories, rumors, and news regarding "The Last of Us 2" is easy. With a strong following, the game's rumors and speculations tend to actually materialize. We may not have all the important updates yet, but the developers might just be observing from afar handpicking features we want the most.

For those who never had the chance to try "The Last of Us" on the PlayStation 3, it's worth every penny to try out the remastered edition for the PlayStation 4 now.

With prices as low as $19.50 from stores like Amazon, there shouldn't be too many excuses to skip it. With DLCs included, better framerate and performance, and graphics, those who haven't touched the game will understand why fans are dying for a sequel.
