'FIFA 17' Update: New Key Feature Active Intelligence System Makes Gameplay Easier

Electronic Arts has added yet another update to its upcoming football game "FIFA 17" ahead of its September release.

EA Sports posted a video showcasing its new feature called the Active Intelligence System. This new system will change the way players move, read, and react, according to the EA Sports website.

Active Intelligence System is not something players will execute themselves. The new feature introduces constant spatial analysis, which gives players a chance to better identify opportunities in attack.

"When you are on the ball your teammates understand if you can make a pass and adjust their movement to show for you or make a new run," according to the description on the site.

This means teammates will be more perceptive to defense gaps, and may even make fake runs to fool the opponent.

This feature is just one of the many new tweaks EA Sports has introduced to "FIFA 17." The game will now feature new attacking techniques to give players more ways to score a goal on the field, including Driven Finish, Downwards Headers, Driven Goal Kicks and Threaded Through Pass.

Another feature which was introduced early this month is the Set Piece Rewrite.

"The set piece rewrite gives you more creativity, variety and control in the most decisive moments of any match," EA Sports said on the site. "Now you have the freedom to position your player and dictate their approach on dead balls, allowing for a wider variety when taking free kicks and penalties."

The game will also feature a fully renovated story mode, called "The Journey." Players will take the role of rookie Manchester United footballer Alex Hunter as he makes his way up the Premier League.

"FIFA 17" will be kicking off on September 27 for Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
