iPhone 7 Leaked Video Confirms Major Design Changes, Larger Camera; September Release Date Slated?
Vivian E.As exciting as it is to finally see Apple's newest device, a high-definition leaked video of the supposed iPhone 7 quickly caught the attention of fans around the world. A new video leaked to Weibo, China's equivalent of Twitter, shows the fully assembled highlighting its major design changes and features.
While there is not much news about the highly anticipated device, the 159-second leaked video could be the fans' first real glimpse at what iPhone 7 may resemble. The said leaked video of the supposed iPhone 7 shows a more slender mold and a vast camera opening.
Rumor has it that two 5.5-inch versions of the iPhone 7 are currently being developed, one with a single iSight rear-facing camera and another bragging a dual-camera setup in tow. The iPhone 7 Plus, on the other hand, is rumored to have a dual-lens camera system equipped with LinX Imaging algorithm, MacRumors has learned.
The iPhone 7 camera lenses are also expected to have a better sensitivity to light and enormously enhanced image quality in low light. It is also expected to have multiple sensors for a smaller size, potentially taking out the need for a protruding camera lens.
What's more, the leaked video further shows the removal of the notable 3.5 mm headphone jack. It is said that the headphone jack of iPhone 7 will supposedly be supplanted by a second speaker grille. Speculations suggest that Apple could stuck up the iPhone 7 with some special Lighting connector tipped earphones.
As for its internal features, the iPhone 7 is expected to be armed with a more powerful processor with a rumored minimum storage capacity of 32 gigabytes and a maximum of whopping 256 gigabytes, Apple Insider reported. Currently, iPhone 6s maxes out at 128 gigabytes.
Though no release date has yet been announced yet, the all new iPhone 7 is rumored to come out on September 16 with a starting price of $714.
