'Fallout 4 DLC' Vault-Tec Workshop Quests Guide

Jazz Rosin

The latest update for "Fallout 4," "Vault-Tec Workshop" was released this week, and it comes with a whole bunch of new quests to complete. Here are the quests you need to finish in the new DLC.

Note: You have to be at least Level 20 to start the first quest.

Vault-Tec Calling

Travel to Vault 88, located northwest of Quincy. The entrance is located in a flooded quarry overrun by ghoul raiders.

Take them out and enter the quarry cave interior. Defeat the raiders near the vault door and use the speaker box to gain access to the vault and complete the quest.

Better Living Underground

For this quest, head into the security area to the right after entering the vault. Lift the security lockdown and go to the generator room and defeat Security Chief Anderson. Loot the Vault-Tec Control Board from the body.

Use the control board to unlock the Vault 88 workshop. In workshop mode, clear the rubble blocking the path leading to the vault. Talk to Overseer Barstow to complete the quest.

A Model Citizen

First you have to clear the feral ghouls in the area. Once that's sorted, talk to Overseer Barstow and build her a Vault Overseer desk in workshop mode.

After Barstow sits at her new desk, return to the generator room and turn on the Radio Beacon. Return to the Overseer (after completing optional quest Explore Vault 88) to interview three candidates.

Finally, get the Pipboy and Vault Suit from the Vault-tec crate and give it to the settler to complete.

Power To The People

The Overseer will ask you to build a Power Cycle 1000 Prototype and connect this to a terminal. Once that's built, assign Clem to the Power Cycle. Go through all of the parameters to get rewards, and let Clem do this for about an hour.

The machine will then breakdown. Fix it via workshop mode and talk to the Overseer afterwards.

The Watering Hole

Go to the HalluciGen Inc. Building and take out all the enemies inside. Head to the third floor and down into the lab. Grab the chemical formulas and return to the vault.

Overseer will ask you to build a Soda Fountain Prototype. Assign it to Clem, and go through the parameters for an hour like what you did with the Power Cycle. Speak to the Overseer to complete.

Vision of the Future

Next you need to build a Phoropter Prototype, under the Workshop "Special" category. It requires 25 nuclear material, which can be obtained by scrapping uranium deposits found deep inside the vault.

After building and powering up the Phoropter, test the three parameters and speak to the settler and the Overseer to complete the quest.

Lady Luck

Finally you would be tasked to build a Slot Machine Prototype. As usual, get Clem to operate the machine for an hour and experiment with the parameters.

Now this is the important part. After testing the slot machine for an hour, Overseer Barstow will be so happy with the results that she wants to leave the vault to share the results to the outside world.

Do not talk her into staying, as this will cause you to miss the "Oversight" trophy/achievement.

Congratulations, you've successfully completed all the Vault-Tec Workshop quests.

"Fallout 4: Vault-Tec Workshop" DLC is available now.
