Any aspiring "Pokémon GO" trainer would not be called a master trainer without at least one or two legendaries with them. Fortunately, it has been confirmed that the three legendary birds Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres are included in the game files, but how do we catch them?

Crafty fans were able to confirm the inclusion of Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres in "Pokémon GO" as the app files suggested. Even Mew, Mewtwo, and Ditto were in the list of the found assets in the game's files.

Unfortunately, neither any of these Pokémon are yet to be available to be caught in the game as they will "NEVER" appear anywhere on the map. At least not yet, until Niantic provides official means of making them available to be found. This may be until a special event is held or something similar.

To further prove that catching any legendary is not possible, Nick Johnson actually managed to catch every single pokémon possible as of the moment, filling out the 145 list.

The supposedly first world "Pokémon Master" is still waiting for the appearance of Zapdos, Moltres and Articuno along with other legendaries as well.

However, one post from Reddit and VG247 suggested that Articuno was actually spotted and caught in Ohio. There was no clarification if it was a bug or Niantic, in fact, gave Articuno to a very lucky pokémon trainer as suggested in the image here.

There was no proof, however, that it was actually a legit catch or if it was a very detailed faking. Either way, there is still no means of catching any of them at the moment and the wait game will be stronger than ever.

The best possible tip anybody could take at the moment is to be well prepared for anything. Level up, pile up on catches, stock up on items, and polish up pokémon catching skills. Nobody knows when or where these legendary Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres for "Pokémon GO" will be released by Niantic, but it pays to be ready at all times.
