iPad Pro 2 Rumors, News: New Apple Tablet To Be ‘Revolutionary’; ‘Radical’ Changes Expected?
Jenia GraciaThe upcoming iPad Pro 2 will be introducing "radical" changes, making it "revolutionary," according to the latest rumors.
For quite a while now, Apple fans have been waiting for updates about the second generation iPad Pro. According to the newest report, the American tech giant is set to unveil three new iPads next year, which means that it will not only be the 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2 that consumers can expect.
"We expect three new iPads (12.9" iPad Pro 2, new size 10.5" iPad Pro & low-cost 9.7" iPad) to be launched in 2017, though this may not drive shipment growth amid structural headwinds; 2017F shipments to fall 10-20% YoY," renowned KGI tech analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said, as reported by Mac Rumors.
As theorized by Kuo, the new iPad models would boast of "revolutionary" changes especially that Apple is leaning towards making "radical" enhancements to the design of their tablet line-up. However, these anticipated changes would only be available starting 2018.
"Revolutionary iPad model likely to be introduced in 2018F at the earliest, with radical changes in form factor design and user behavior on adoption of flexible AMOLED panel," Kuo stated.
Despite introducing new iPad models, including the iPad Pro 2, the latest news update suggested that this might not be enough to help Apple increase their sales.
With the reported downtrend for the tablet market, the iPads might be affected as well.
In the meantime, Apple Insider shared a supposed image of the upcoming new device. It was pointed out, though, that they cannot confirm the aunthenticity of the photo sent to them.
Based on the anticipated iPad's "prototype," which was identified as model number MH1C2CD/F, it will run on iOS 10 beta and would be produced starting next month.
